How Do I Remove Tires?

Comments: How do I REMOVE off-road tires from the rims without destroying either? I have one that is out of round and need to fix it so my truck doesn't shake itself apart. Thanks.

Response: You can do one of two things. Boil some water and put in the tire and rim for about 20 minutes. The tire should peel off of the rim. If this doesn't work, you can set your oven at about 350 degrees (Fahrenheit) and put the rims and tires in for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. The heat will disable the glue and the tire should come off of the rim. Some times the tire does not survive this process (it may rip) but the rim can always be reused. The boiling water method is safer for both the rim and tire but the oven method seems to be more effective.
